New Assessment Information 2016/17
During the 2016/17 academic year, we will be using updated ‘Ladder Standards’ below to assess our children in reading, writing and maths. The standards are linked with the Governments Interim Assessment Framework. All of the ‘I can’ statements on the ladders are from the National Curriculum.
Adults at the school use these standards to assess what pupils already know as well as what they need to learn next. We like to engage the pupils with the ladders so that they take 'ownership' of their learning.
The ladders can also be used by parents to support next steps when working with your child.
