Collective Worship

At Christ Church, Collective Worship takes place daily. We aim for worship to be inclusive, invitational and inspirational for all. It is firmly rooted in our Christian vision (I Am Because We Are) and therefore provides opportunities for pupils, staff, parents and carers to gather together, reflect and grow together through our carefully planned programme. 

Opportunities for pupil leadership have expanded through the development of our Worship Team, and our Faith and Spirituality Group will work together to continue to evaluate and develop worship at Christ Church Primary School.

Strong partnerships with families and the local church continue to enrich worship experiences, while new initiatives, including outdoor worship, demonstrate our commitment to providing meaningful and engaging opportunities that support the spiritual development of all members of our school community. 

The link between our school and the Parish Church is very important to us. Services are held at Christ Church, celebrating the main Christian festivals. Mother Ariadne, who is the Vicar of Christ Church, is also a member of the School's Governing Body. She is a regular visitor to our school.
