Due to COVID restrictions we are unfortunately unable to have our usual open mornings. However, please see the video below to get a feel for Reception at Christ Church School.
We hope those who attended our live Q&A session useful. Please contact the school if you have any further questions.
If you are thinking of applying for a place at the School, please take the time to read through details of our admissions arrangements.
Christ Church School is a successful Church of England School and has a distinctive Christian contribution to make to the education of children in the area of Shooters Hill.
The total number on the School roll is limited by the size of the building. The Governors are responsible for admissions and admit 30 per year. The intake to the Foundation Stage Two (Reception Class), takes place at the start of September each year and pupils are admitted over a staggered two week period – the oldest children being admitted first.
The School regularly has more applicants than the number of places available. In formulating the admissions policy for the School, the Governors recognise their responsibilities to both parents and children who are active members of Christ Church and also to those who live in close proximity to the School.
The School does not have any specific units or facilities for pupils with particular special needs or physical disabilities although the School does have internal and external lifts specifically for disabled access. The School is on a multi-level site, with accommodation on all levels. Classrooms, playgrounds and School office are accessible using steps, ramps and lifts.
The links below are for our admissions policy and supplementary forms for admission to the School in September 2021. However, applications are submitted via the Royal Borough of Greenwich, please see the link below.
